INFORMATION WE COLLECT
CorvGenSurv will have access to all of the user’s files stored in their Google Drive. CorvGenSurv will only collect data from the folders the user chooses for analysis. Data you submit to CorvGenSurv should be anonymized and contain no personal data traceable to any individual.
AUTHORIZATION SCOPES
All sequencing data files and CorvGenSurv result files are saved on your Google Drive and are subject to the Google Privacy Policy. CorvGenSurv will request access to the UserInfo.Email, UserInfo.Profile and Drive OAuth scopes. These allow CorvGenSurv to set-up permissions to access files that you select for analysis by our pipeline, to upload results directly to your Drive, and to send notifications to your Google email address.
HOW DO WE USE THIS INFORMATION
When a user selects the folder of data they want to analyze from their Drive, CorvGenSurv will set permission to access that folder and its contents when the request is submitted. Our server will download the files within it when our pipeline is ready. After downloading them, the access permission of those files for the pipeline will be automatically removed. CorvGenSurv then emails the user about the status of the pipeline. Once CorvGenSurv pipeline completes, the results of the analysis are uploaded directly to the user’s Drive as a zip folder (Upon the submission, we create an empty zip file for this purpose, and thus the server doesn’t have any right to access or create any file in your Google drive except this zip file once the required files in the designated folder are downloaded.).

CorvGenSurv shares the results of analysis with the intended user.
CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY
CorvGenSurv reserves the right to change the Privacy Policy at any time. CorvGenSurv will notify significant changes to our Privacy Policy by placing a prominent notice on the CorvGenSurv website. Significant changes will go into effect 30 days following such notification. Non-material changes or clarifications will take effect immediately. Users should periodically check the CorvGenSurv website and the Privacy Policy page for updates.
